I had found a cheap watercolour set (sort of which is used in primaries), and while I was painting I realized, that the memories from primary, the lousy watercolours, the tip of the brush is falling out, and it fills the whole sheet, and it’s becoming lined becasue of the water. That’s why I used to hate painting, but you just should have bought the better brand of brush, thicker, better kind of paper; from now on the cheap watercolour stands the proof. (Ps: That was/is the situation in Hungary I’m writing about.) Találtam egy ilyen olcsó vízfestéket (olyan általános iskolába valót), és használata közben megvilágosult bennem, hogy az emlékek általánosból, hogy a vízfesték pocsék, az ecset hullik, és azzal lesz tele a kép, meg a papír ráncosodik a víz miatt. Ezért utáltam festeni anno, pedig csak ecsetből jobb márkát kellett volna venni, papírból művészkartont; innentől a festék tökéletesen megfelel a célnak.
